How DayJet Works
We're revolutionizing on-demand travel, and making your flight experience just as remarkable. When you experience the DayJet™ Difference, you'll experience the freedom of regional business travel on your own terms.
How does DayJet work? You tell us when to fly, based on your timeframe, not ours. You pay only for the seat(s) you need; and decide how much your ticket will cost. You check-in at a designated small community airport. No waiting in line. No major airport hassles. You board a brand new Eclipse 500™ jet, piloted by two captains, and carrying no more than two other passengers. You fly exactly where you need to go, direct, with no connections. No A, B, C boarding passes. And you visit more places regionally for business while still getting back home at the end of the day. It's time air travel got on board with your demands.

Something you've never had before in regional business travel: Complete control.
Using the DayJet™ secure online reservation portal, www.DayJet.com, is similar to booking a commercial flight online—with one very big exception. DayJet flies based on no one else's timetable but yours. So you tell us:
- Where to fly within our regional network- DayPort™ locations on a per-seat basis or DayStop™ locations on a per-plane basis.
- When to fly by setting your travel time (the latest time you want to arrive at your destination and the earliest time you want to depart).
- Your budget using our flexible Time-Value Pricing™ tool, which lets you interactively adjust your timeline and get real-time quotes until your flight time and cost fit your time and budget..
Once you are satisfied with the where, the when, and the cost, lock in your selections. After you book your seat, the fare and travel time you have negotiated won't change. You're guaranteed to fly at the times and price you've selected, whether you're the first, last, or only member onboard.
Relax, knowing that DayJet will confirm your check-in time the night before you travel. Your DaySaver™ Itinerary will be sent to you by email after 8 p.m. EDT; simply sign in to www.DayJet.com.
All of the security, none of the hassle.
As a DayJet™ member, you're pre-screened by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). That means no long lines. Just walk in and go straight to the counter, where a DayJet professional will assist you. There are just three quick steps to your DayPort™ airport check-in:
- Confirm your identity with a government-issued photo ID (driver's license or current passport).
- Baggage weigh-in.
- A discreet, personal weigh-in
After check-in, it's about a half-hour wait in comfortable, living-room-style chairs. (Of course, with amenities like ours, you might wish you could stay longer.)
Now Boarding Seats A Through You.
You'll depart onboard the advanced Eclipse 500™ jet. The interior is about the size of a mini-van, but with the comfort and design of a luxury auto – one that can travel at speeds of 425 mph, that is. So you get a comfortable, serene work environment or the perfect opportunity to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the ride.
Here are just a few things to expect in preparation for your flight:
- You'll share the cabin with no more than two other DayJet members.
- Your seat will be assigned at check-in and will be based on the load balancing of the aircraft.
- You may bring onboard a total of 40 pounds of luggage. This includes all stowed and accessible items that you may want to use while in-flight.
- After reaching cruising altitude, your DayJet Captains will let you know when it's safe for you to use FAA-approved electronic devices, such as your notebook computer or DVD player. This is also a good time to ask your captain(s) any questions you may have about your in-flight experience.
