Membership

How do I apply for membership?

The first step in taking control of your regional travel and increasing your business productivity is to become a DayJet™ member. Membership is $250 per person per year and is available on a first–come, first–served basis. You can apply for membership by calling 888–3DAYJET. Once you become a member, you will receive a membership kit with information on booking a DayJet flight and helpful tips and advice.

How soon after I complete membership enrollment can I book my first reservation?

The enrollment process includes confirmation that the applicant is not on the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) "No Fly List." Normally, new members will be able to book a reservation 24—hours after completing the membership enrollment application.

Why does DayJet need to know my weight?

As much as we value your time, we value your safety more. DayJet implements the use of actual weights of our members, crews and baggage to ensure your safety. That's why each and every DayJet member is asked to provide and verify his/her correct weight at three separate times:

  1. During membership enrollment
  2. When booking a reservation
  3. Upon check-in at a DayPort or DayStop location

How do I make a reservation?

Only DayJet members can make reservations using our secure online reservation portal located at www.DayJet.com or by calling DayJet Customer Care at 866.4DAYJET

I need to travel to a city that is not listed as a DayPort™ or a DayStop™. What are my options?

DayJet only flies to designated DayPort or DayStop airports, which meet our minimum requirements for flight safety, operations and customer experience. We cannot accommodate travel to destinations outside of our DayPort or DayStop network.

If I book travel in advance, can I get a lower fare?

DayJet's commitment is to put you in control of your budget through our flexible Time–Value Pricing structure, allowing you to fly at the time and price you define. Seat prices are not based on how far out you book your reservation; our fares are based on your travel window and your flexibility. The more flexible you are with your travel time, the lower your seat fare. So whether you book ten–days, five-days or one–day in advance, you control the price through the size of your travel window; you're never penalized for last-minute travel. The advantage of booking DayJet travel early is availability.

Check–in

When checking in, what should I expect from the security process when I get to the DayPort location?

As a DayJet member, you're pre–screened by the TSA. That means no long lines – just walk in and go straight to the counter, where a DayJet Customer Care professional will assist you.

At check–in you will need to show your government–issued photo ID such as a valid driver's license or current passport, so be sure to have it with you. Your name in the DayJet reservation system must match the name on your identification.

How far in advance of my flight do I need to check–in at my DayPort location?

You simply need to check–in by the time specified in your final DaySaver itinerary, available online or via email two–hours before your flight. If your aircraft and the other passengers are all checked–in and available to depart sooner, we will; so it's important you check–in by the time specified.

How much luggage can I bring onboard?

You are allowed to bring onboard a total of 40 pounds of baggage. All items you bring onboard must be stowed securely. Any items you wish to access while in–flight must be stowed in specific areas provided in the cabin.

  1. Stowed baggage – You may store in the aircraft baggage area no more than two bags. Stowed baggage is not accessible at any time during your flight. Each bag cannot exceed the dimensions of 21" height x 23" length x 12" width, regardless of weight.
  2. Accessible baggage – Any personal item you wish to access while in flight must be no larger than a ream of paper, so it can fit in an approved seatback or side pocket. Any personal item that cannot comfortably fit in the seatback or side pocket must be stowed in the aircraft baggage area.

Can I select my seat?

No. Upon check–in you will be assigned a seat before you board the aircraft. Safety is our first priority, and your seat will be assigned based on the load balancing of the aircraft.

Will I wait in the aircraft or in the airport during the intermediate stop?

If you make an intermediate stop, you will deplane and be escorted inside the DayPort, where you can enjoy your brief wait in comfortable living room–style chairs, check email, watch headline news or have a snack.

I'm 6'8" and weigh over 300 pounds, can the plane accommodate me?

If you can comfortably climb aboard and sit in a seat on our aircraft with your seatbelt fastened, we can accommodate you. No passenger will be penalized for his/her weight.
