Local Communities Resources

Turn Your Community Airport into an Economic Development Engine

DayJet™ "Per-Seat, On-Demand" business jet service will fill the gaps in regional transportation, enabling business professionals to conduct day trips to/from outlying regional markets. This breakthrough will drastically alter the landscape of regional travel, helping business professionals restore productivity, maintain a high quality of life, and move at the speed of 21st Century business to keep their communities globally competitive.

We seek to integrate our business jet services into the fabric of small and medium-sized communities with little or no scheduled airline service, while growing operations productively in coordination with community values. We're eager to listen and learn from community and business leaders about ongoing initiatives for economic growth through reliable and efficient regional transportation. At the same time, DayJet recognizes the importance of protecting environmental quality and preserving the distinctive character and quality-of-life of the communities we serve.

DayJet has created the next major advance in regional business travel. We seek to partner with communities that want DayJet to become part of their business structure. Together, we can help drive corporate productivity, regional economic growth and hometown competitiveness.

It's Time to Take Action!

Although our initial service region is the Southeast (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee), we have not yet finalized the specific locations we will serve within the region nor the sequence by which we will roll out these locations. We're also actively planning our service roll-out for other areas across the country. There's time for you to take action and express interest in having DayJet land in your community.

The DayJet Community Action Kit arms you with information on how to engage the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Flight Procedures Office to survey your community airport for an Instrument Flight Procedure — specifically a LPV (Localizer Precision with Vertical Guidance) approach — to leverage the nation's Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) Global Positioning System (GPS). Airports mapped with a WAAS/LPV approach are highly conducive and appealing for DayJet operations.

The DayJet Community Action Kit also includes a business travel survey that your Chamber of Commerce can use to register the level of local business interest in using DayJet "Per-Seat, On-Demand" service — which will be considered as we determine where to fly next.
